Over the weekend, we hosted Juliette Aristides for her 3 Day Figure Painting Workshop at Kline Academy.
The workshop was comprised of theory and application principles. In the morning, Juliette gave her students a lecture and a demonstration, and students did sketches from the model related to the lecture which included the theory of using value, warm/cool limited palette painting and full color. In the afternoon, students did one extended painting created with a tonal under painting and building up color.
This step by step application was remarkably effective that every single student showed a success in the process as well as the piece he/she created.
